Living with...Fibro

Saturday, January 12, 2019

Living with Fibromyalgia...the number one point: don't expect people to know what the hell you are talking about when you tell them you have fibromyalgia! It is such a complicated illness that many doctors don't even understand it. It took years, and a heap of different doctors, and misdiagnoses for me to finally get an answer as to what was wrong with me. And when I did find out all I learned was that there is no cure, painkillers are basically all the doctor can give you-and if you have a metabolism like mine they do bugger all! So buckle up for a list of things that flew through my head when I asked myself the question: What is it like living with fibromyalgia?

How to be Kinder in 2018

Tuesday, March 20, 2018

At the end of last year, I sat down and really evaluated what I wanted out of life, I took a look at the things that were making me happy, and those that weren’t, and decided that my focus going forward had to be to do things in service of making the happy things outweigh everything else.

With that in mind I decided to write goals for 2018 as opposed to resolutions. I wanted to have things that I could work at, things that I wouldn’t beat myself up about if I failed to keep them up. Resolutions have a certain amount of guilt attached to them (IMHO) in that nobody expects you to keep them, but society will always take pleasure in pointing it out when you don’t. I’ve had enough of feeling guilt, so I wasn’t about to put myself in the situation where I was heaping that guilt onto myself.

That is why the goals were born, and I think that is why now, in the 3rd week of March, I am still maintaining a healthy relationship with them! I thought it would be nice to share what I’ve been doing this year whilst referring to them to see just how well I’m doing. Full disclosure: a couple of the items in this post were sent to me to try out, but I only accepted them because they fit with what I am trying to do with my life, and I would have written this post with or without them.
I was originally going to make this one post but honestly I have so much to say about each goal, that I'm going to have to break it down! So welcome to the first in a series of posts about how I'm achieving my 2018 goals, starting with goal number 1:

Summer Snooze with Adjustamatic

Saturday, July 01, 2017

I have a big, beautiful comfy bed, but due to chronic pain I also have a makeshift bed on our big comfy couch. I can't actually remember the last time I had a decent night's sleep.  As I toss and turn every night, trying to get comfortable enough to sleep for even just a few hours- I wonder "does everybody have this much trouble sleeping?" So I do what I always do and turn to Twitter, and it turns out I'm not alone, especially in the summer!
Let's pretend I said in and not on the summer lol.
As you can see an overwhelming majority of respondents have their sleep pattern altered in the summer months.

Probably the last time I had a good night's sleep. (Disclaimer: It's a toy gun, my big sister told me there were escaped prisoners in the area!)
Here's a few reasons I couldn't get to sleep this month:

  • it was far too bright outside even my eyemask didn't help
  • birds are bloody chirpy at this time of year
  • it was ROASTING!
  • Too many blankets
  • Not enough blankets
  • Too many pillows
  • Not enough pillows
  • Sneezing fit because the pollen gets fecking everywhere
  • A fly got in and buzzed round my head for an hour
  • Pretty Little Liars Finale-okay not summer related but man the wait was tense *haha*
The folks at Adjustamatic are also thinking about our sleep this summer with their #SummerSnooze campaign and have created the fab Infographic below for you to peruse.

How's your sleep in the Summer? I'd love to hear about all the things that have kept you awake.Sound off in the comments, or as always come and chat to me on twitter.

My Perfect Glasses Experience

Friday, June 16, 2017

I have such a weird relationship with glasses. On the one hand I need them for reading and looking at computer screens, but on the other I see adequately well without them. Granted wearing them does reduce my book/screen related headaches BUT every pair I've ever had has given me headaches by pinching the side of my head (it's a fibro thing, I'm extra sensitive)- so you can see why I'd begrudge wearing them full time. And if I'm not going to wear them full time why on earth would I want to spend a small fortune on a pair? So, because I am my own worst enemy I didn't wear them, the headaches came and I persevered...in my defence painkillers are a lot cheaper than glasses!
However I must now admit that I am a changed woman, and it's all thanks to the folks at Perfect Glasses.

At first I will admit I was pretty sceptical about buying glasses online, and with the prices being so low I was convinced I was going to receive a pair of shoddily put together glasses that looked nothing like the picture.

Walden Electra from Perfect Glasses

Well colour me pleasantly surprised because not only are the glasses sturdy, they are also comfortable, I can see perfectly through them (I ordered standard reading glasses but prescription sunglasses and sunglasses are readily available) and they look almost exactly like the image on the website! Because I am a terrible cliche I ordered a white marble pair, with a gold nose bar and when they arrived they were slightly on the grey marble side but honestly they are so pretty and I can read Harry Potter for the 9000th time, so I don't really care haha.

The best thing about shopping with Perfect Glasses has to be the prices. With some pairs starting at just £9, and designer glasses like these Fendi bad boys going for just £173 (including prescriptions and coatings), even the cheapest shopper can find something to suit. My beautiful pair are called Walden Electra and came to a grand total of £29 and that's not too bloody shabby. They came in a protective case too so there's no penny pinching going on as far as I can see.

Fendi fabulousness

All in all I could not be happier with my first foray into online glasses shopping and have been telling everyone who asks just how great my experience has been. So if you're looking for new glasses, that don't cost the earth, from a company that could not be easier to work with, head over to Perfect Glasses. I'll be heading back as soon as I've recovered from the post Florida money chasm lol.

The Truth about Struggling to Conceive // TW: Infertility and Miscarriage

Wednesday, May 11, 2016

pregnancy, conceive, infertility, fertility, struggles, trying for a baby

I don't know if you know this but falling pregnant is not always as easy as sitcoms, the Daily Mail, and sex ed teachers will have you believe. Fun fact: my husband and I have been "trying" since around October 2013...less fun fact: still no baby.
But this post isn't going to be one of those, woe is me pieces, I've decided it's time I wrote down every little thing that bothers me about struggling to conceive...also known as "Things you didn't know about the struggle of fertility".

Silence

Friday, April 15, 2016

Do you ever feel like you're shouting into the wind.  There are hundreds of people looking at you but they can't hear a word you're saying because the wind is swallowing your words. The problem is nobody makes any effort to tell you they can't hear you.  There is no engagement just silence. You're standing there screaming, thinking "why are you ignoring me?""why does nobody care?" And all the while they're just staring into the distance wondering why this crazy person is making shapes with their mouth when there is no sound coming out.
You can shout louder but the wind just picks up, then the rain starts and you think "oh well what's the point in straining my voice in the wind and rain if nobody is listening?...I'll just shut up now".

The Past Is Gone, The Future Yet Unborn But Right Here And Now Is Where It All Goes On

Saturday, April 02, 2016

Hello there!
So I'm sitting here having just rubbed a copious amount of Vicks Vaporub into my own chest which has resulted in three thoughts: 1) Doing this to yourself is way less sexy than letting someone else do it-I can't be the only one that finds this sexy!! 2) I may have put too much on and now my eyes are watering, and 3) I love my new boobs!!
Wait that sounded confusing, to clarify I have not had a boob job (although I absolutely would if I could afford it) what has happened though is I have gained a ton of weight and with it I have become the proud new owner of a mighty fine pair of mammaries. Can you say upside?!? Ha. Which leads us kinda smoothly into this, IT'S LIFE UPDATE TIME!!
selfie, pale, make-up free, natural, Aj, blonde
Hi. Sorry about my make-up free face and dour expression but this is the only photo I had that matched the post.lol.
If you know me in real life, or follow me on Twitter, you will know that I've been dealing with a LOT of health issues for over a year now, These have probably contributed to the aforementioned weight gain (although I can't take all of the blame away from chocolate and wine), but more than that they have contributed to a less positive AJ. I know I am always going on about positivity and ra-ra-ciss-boom-ba cheerleader stuff but lately I've noticed I've been moaning most of the time, and for that I can only apologise. So please bare with me while I grump and gripe my way through this challenge, I promise it will get better.
Anyway, I'm in pain, a lot of pain in fact. I have tried a thousand times to explain just how much pain, and I always come up short. Sometimes I feel like I've run a marathon, sometimes I feel like I've been hit by a bus, and sometimes I wake up and I feel like I've been hit by a bus and then got up and ran a marathon...on these days I crawl, lie down, and my poor husband runs after me like a blue-arsed fly. My muscles are either dull and achy, or crampy and heavy, or in fire, or swollen. My skin is permanently itchy and hot, my headaches are one bright light away from developing into a full-blown migraine, and I am permanently nauseated. It is hard, really hard. It doesn't help that Doctors didn't give a shit and pawned me off with meds that did nothing...until last month!
Last month I had a horrible experience, my doctor's surgery refused to see me because they decided I wasn't entitled to an on the day appointment. I was informed that I should have booked an appointment ONE MONTH in advance to be sure I'd be seen. I asked for my repeat prescription and was told I can't issue it without seeing you, but no I won't see you today-I can get you an appointment for TWO WEEKS time. I'm not going to lie I got off that phone quicker than you can shout "fuck you, you inconsiderate bitch" and promptly burst into tears. Then I did the best thing ever...I quit my surgery and joined a new one.
Within one week I had had a full examination, my new doctor had listened to all my symptoms and took a copy of my notes (I keep very thorough symptom notes). I had bloods taken and a possible diagnosis. However when my bloods came back it became apparent that I probably didn't have what she initially thought it could be and we were stumped again. But because my new doctor is so great she picked up from my symptom list and tried again which takes us to now.
Now I am on the waiting list for an appointment with the neurology department, and I have been referred for an MRI.
It is so refreshing having a caregiver who actually seems to, not just believe me but actually care, about what I'm going through.
So that's where I am. I'm in pain, I feel sick, and I'm depressed as all hell, BUT I can see the light.
Hopefully, I won't let much more of my negativity seep into my outpourings but if I do please call me out on it!
And that's about it! Sorry if this has made little sense but I'm just writing as I think so...stream of consciousness high five?
Any recommendations for pain relief, or how to not let the pain get me down, are greatly appreciated :-) xxx

Why I LOVE my body!

Saturday, February 06, 2016

Whoa hold on now is AJ about to be super vain and ramble on about her succulent curves, banging boobies, and ever-lasting legs??? Well no, no she is not. I mean don't get me wrong all of these things are true *not even a humble brag* but that's not what this is about, this is about so much more.
I am a pretty avid Twitter user and one thing I've noticed is that whilst we build up our friends and followers' self-esteem, we are bloody horrible to ourselves!! We hate this, we detest that, our lives would be so much better if our stomachs were flat (didn't mean to rhyme but fuck it, it works!)...it's bollocks!
I for one have had enough of being mean to the one thing I really have in this world. When all is said and done your body is the only thing that follows you to your grave, so can we all, maybe, start being a little nicer to them??
Now little plot twist here, my body is riddled with illness, I'm in constant pain, some days I can't even walk, and I have skin so dry that heavy duty moisturisers do nothing but cause a reaction because my skin rejects any form of moisture...yet putting all this aside I have learned to love the body I have, and to stop mourning the body I had when I was 24 (I would have said 18 but I was actually in the best shape of my life at 24).
24 YEAR OLD AJ-FIT AS FUCK BUT NOT A BIG BODY FAN :-/
So why do I love my body?
1) My body fights the good fight every day. My body refuses to let pain stop me from being me, and it works tirelessly to let me get on with things. Sure sometimes it fails, and I have days where getting up off the couch is impossible but I won't hold that against it because it bloody tries!!
2) My body is missing bits, it has marks and scratches, scars and lesions all over it. It isn't pretty and for a while I tried to hide every red or white line and then I realised "fuck! I'm a real life Sally Nightshade" my body's been torn apart and put back together again more times than I can count, and it's STILL going" and that's amazing.
3) My body has held life inside it! My body worked hard to harvest a comfortable place for another soul to thrive. Yes, I didn't carry to term BUT in response to miscarriage my body laboured, my body contracted and it birthed. It was agony and it was hell but my body knew what to do even when I didn't, and it protected me as best it could.
4) My body has been battered and bruised, starved and force-fed, broken and used, and EACH AND EVERY TIME it has picked itself up, dusted itself off, raised a middle finger to those who wronged it, and just mother- fucking healed the shit out of itself right before my eyes.
So yeah, I love my body! My body is a badass-oh and my body doesn't care what I put on it, my body doesn't care if I haven't shaved my legs, or if my eyebrows aren't "on-fleek", or even if it's dressed in the latest designer clothing. I mean my brain does, but my body is just walking around going "bitch please I'm fucking magical and science-y!"
Do you guys think it's about time we gave our bodies a little more credit? What is your favourite thing about your body? Come chat to me on Twitter.

Living With...Anxiety

Tuesday, December 29, 2015

Hi dolls,

I have 3 different notebooks lying around me right now, all 3 have lists, ideas, first drafts, second drafts, and scribbles all over them. All 3 are my blog post notebooks and not one has a finished post inside!
At the start of December, I relaunched and I was finally happy with my design and layout (and I still am, I really totally do love it) I had so many plans, and I couldn't wait to get writing and publishing, but every single time I sat down to write I failed to finish a single fucking paragraph!!!

NEWSFLASH!!!

In a stunning twist, it's not even that old cow Writer's Block that is stopping me. Nope, this time, it's this new bitch in town- Anxiety!

I know, I know, "Anxiety" is a word bandied about the Twittersphere like a badge of honour nowadays- but bitches be crazy if they think it's some cool new accessory. Anxiety can't be taken off and put on a shelf next to your marble vinyl paper and blog props, until the next time you want to be "just like Zoella"! I could tell you what anxiety actually is BUT it's different for everyone, and everybody has a different way of explaining it to others- here is my way...

Things My Anxiety has told Me This Year

(in this scenario my anxiety is a skinny blonde bitch, that looks a little like my school bully)

  • Bitch do you really think you're funny? Chlamydia gets more laughs!
  • Why bother writing it? Literally nobody gives a shit!
  • Your friends legit think you are a total bitch-say nice things to keep them around- for now!
  • Why would Damian love you? You are a mean, narky, temperamental cow!
  • Oh, and BTW you should not be wearing those jeans...can you say thunder thighs? Fat bitch!
  • Yup, that guy is definitely going to kill you. He's not really heading to work, he's got a cellar where he's going to chop you up into little pieces.
  • Seriously EVERYBODY is looking at you- I bet it's because of that ugly scar on your nose- that guy (on the other side of the road) he sees it and he is disgusted.
  • You know you're getting old right?
  • You're NEVER going to be a mum.
  • You'd be a shit mum anyway!
  • Although you couldn't be any worse than you are at being a wife.
  • This lift is going to break down, nobody is going to care enough to look for you, you are going to have a panic attack and die in this metal and glass coffin.
  • Just stop trying- it's pathetic.
  • Why would they promote you?
  • That person behind you IS going to kidnap you- for real.
  • Nobody is going to pay the ransom.
  • You looked shit on your wedding day.
  • You look shit today too, and tomorrow probably.
  • Your husband is repulsed by your skin and scars.
  • He legit doesn't find you attractive.
  • If you eat that you WILL choke and die.
  • That pain IS a heart attack- you are going to die right here.
  • You're going to get sacked any day now because you're shit at your job as well as everything else.
  • If you go to sleep I'm going to give you that nightmare again.
  • If you go to sleep I'm going to make you miss your alarm. miss work, and lose your job.
  • If you go to sleep you are NEVER going to wake up.
  • He sleeps better without you there anyway.
  • It's cancer/fibromyalgia//MS/other horrible illness
  • You think you've got style? You look like a hippo that shops in trash cans.
  • Why bother moving today.
  • Why bother blogging? Shut it all down.
  • Why bother doing anything?
I could go on and on but this is already longer than I planned so I'll stop here with the things anxiety has told me this month. I know most of these things seem irrational (except maybe the not being funny thing) but in the moment I believe them all, and that is why I've decided 2016 is going to be the year that I defeat this stupid blonde bitch!- Wish me luck!!

Thanks for reading, and please have a gentle new year.

Much Love

Breaking The Silence // Extending the Hand of Friendship

Wednesday, August 12, 2015

wasn't going to write this post, sometimes I feel like maybe we put too much of ourselves out there- but then I remember that I'm a blogger and that's kind of what I do! Even so, this post is super personal and the only reason I am writing it is because I was recently reminded that people sometimes need to know that they are not alone. I am also writing it because the world needs to talk about things like miscarriage and child loss more!
These are things that are so common in our world, yet are somehow still considered taboo subjects. I'm not suggesting you make them your next dinner party conversation topic but I am begging that you don't ignore people when they bring it up. I get that it is an uncomfortable topic for some to discuss, but your two minutes of discomfort is nothing compared to the lifetime of pain felt by those who have experienced the unthinkable.

I personally know so many women who have experienced miscarriage, many more who have had to give birth to a sleeping child, and even some who have had no choice but to terminate a much wanted pregnancy because there were major risks to their own lives. All of these women have suffered loss and all of them are struggling to adapt to their new normal.

These women (and their partners too of course!) have gone through so many emotions, emotions we all experience but could never imagine experiencing all at once. There is elation (or abject fear) when they see that positive test, and then their mind goes into overdrive, imagining a life with their child, a life filled with joy, laughter and all encompassing love. A life that involves play dates, football games in the park, ballet classes, tears, smiles, hugs and tantrums. A life that you pray your child will lead, not once in these first few moments do you consider that something might go wrong. But for so many it does go wrong, for so many they never get to experience that rush of love when they see their baby's heartbeat for the first time, some never even get to see their baby on a scan because they leave too soon. Some have to make difficult decisions and deal with the guilt that stems from them, and some have to deliver a baby they know will never take a breath.

So often when the unthinkable happens people don't understand why it hurts so much, I personally was asked "how can you be this upset about something you never actually had?"- can we just take a second to think about how ridiculous that question is? Remember that whole life I mentioned, the one you start dreaming about the second you find out you are pregnant? We mourn the life we expected, we mourn the expectation of a healthy pregnancy, we fight with ourselves internally, we blame ourselves and wonder what we could have done differently. There are a million emotions that run through you when you lose a baby, and at the core of it all is a deep, unrelenting sadness and pain. It never ends either, something like this changes you as a person, everything you do for a while will be tinged with a different kind of emotion.

One day you will realise that you smiled a lot, and then suddenly you will feel guilty for smiling! You will go a whole day or even two or three without feeling hopeless, and then BOOM it will all come rushing back and hit you all over again. It never really goes away, I think about what could have been every single day...I sit in a bar with a nice glass of wine and my brain tells me you couldn't do this so often if you had your baby, and I find myself wishing I wasn't sat in that bar drinking that wine. I get a twinge of jealousy when I walk past pregnant women, and then remember that I don't know their journey, I don't know if they struggled like I struggle, and then I end up just praying that all goes well for them.

That's what miscarriage and child loss does to you, it takes away your innocence, your naivety, it changes your priorities, it changes your entire outlook and it hurts.

I was lucky enough to find a woman who made it her life's mission to make the world a better place for women like me, and through her I found an amazing support system, and the strength to try again.
She has made me want to be a better person because of what happened, as opposed to being a sadder person. Which is the point of this post really, if you need to talk, talk to me. If you need to rant, rant to me! If you have experienced loss and don't know where to turn, turn to me and I'll do my best to help. I am not an expert, I am just a woman who lost a baby, like so many others out there. If I can empathise I will, if I can't I will introduce you to the people who can. At the same time if someone you know is struggling with this and you just don't know what to say, please ask me. I know it can be hard, but the most important thing is to make sure that you don't dismiss the feelings of a person who is trying to reach out to you. Say their baby's name, remember them, and remember that if a person feels like a parent it isn't up to you to tell them they aren't!

Sorry for being depressing today, I promise normal service will resume shortly, but today I'm choosing to remember our baby. Two years ago today our world changed, and I'm lucky that I've adapted to my new normal, but others aren't so lucky...this post is for them.

In memory of baby Pip -12th August 2013. 💙

Save My Face // Skincare // Dermatique*

Monday, August 10, 2015

Hi guys!

I'm going to let you in on a little secret...all through high school I was called Frosty. Not for my ice queen-like disposition, or the fact that I refused to drop my knickers for all the "popular" boys (although I'd like to clarify that those things were both also true) but no, the awfully imaginative bullies (who shall henceforth be known as twatty-bastards) had decided that because I had dry skin I deserved to be teased mercilessly. Apparently flaky skin makes you a snowman...who knew?? Anyway, as strong as I am the twatty-bastards did get to me, so I made it my mission to "cure" my dry skin. It took me until I was 18 to realise that there wasn't really a miracle cure for something that is so prevalent and that you have no control over!! Of course, there were creams out there that managed to give me some moisture but I never actually found one that lasted all day, or for that matter for as long as it took me to add my makeup on top.

frosty the snowman, snowman, frosty, drawing
Photo Credit: ME! Thought I'd draw the little guy for y'all.
THEN I discovered blogging, and alongside that a whole community of people who have the answers. I took to Twitter and asked the all-important question: What cream is best for extra dry and eczema prone skin? The resounding answer was La Roche Posay Toleriane Fluide-and do you know what I thought it was perfect...until I tried wearing it under my makeup. But hey, I was one step closer. La Roche Posay works on those days when I don't want to wear makeup, and I would highly recommend it. I settled into my almost perfect skincare routine and was quite content until one day everything changed...the day I was contacted by Dermatique.

Dermatique are a Scottish skincare company, and by that I mean SCOTTISH SKINCARE GENIUSES!! They very kindly sent me a tub of their Recuperating Cream to try out and I can't stop using it and recommending it.

Dermatique, cream, recuperating cream, local produce

Dermatique, recuperating cream, cream, local produce

cream, recuperating cream, dermatique, scottish brands

The cream is a lovely thick body butter type consistency, which reminds me of good old Astral, and much like a proper good thick cream it really doesn't take much to cover my whole face. It is a lot heavier than I am used to, but whilst this bothered me the first couple of days I soon got used to it and I stopped even noticing the difference.

Oh and can I just mention the smell.. some other reviews I've seen have said the smell is horrible but these people are crazy! I couldn't quite figure out what I was smelling at first but one day, when I got the sudden urge to lick my own face, I realised that it's OATMEAL!! My face smells like breakfast, and I love it!!! I'm guessing this unheard of smell (for a cream) comes from the fact that this cream is completely natural- NO PARABENS, NO ADDITIVES, NOTHING!

I put A LOT of faith in Dermatique because their products are specifically formulated for people with eczema, dry skin, psoriasis etc, and boy did they deliver! Are you ready to see the results? First up I give you my pre-Dermatique face (fully made-up)...
You see all the dry, flaky bits across my brow line, and tip of my nose?

Wait for it...
GONE!! Completely fucking GONE! My skin is so clear, and practically glowing.
I give complete credit for my skin transformation to Dermatique and their Recuperating Cream. I know that £29.50 may seem a bit steep for a tub of cream, but seriously look at the difference! This isn't just a moisturiser, this is a miracle CURE for a "Frosty", "Flaky" "Weather-beaten", "Bully Fodder" complexion!

If you suffer from any skin complaint like eczema, psoriasis etc, then please do yourself a favour and head over to Dermatique and grab yourself a pot! And if you still aren't quite sure then you can now pick up a sampler size for just £4.99...don't just take my word for it, try it for yourself.

Let me know what you think, or what your miracle products are in the comments. I'll just be sitting here licking my face, and taking wonder in the softness.

Much Love

Learning to Relax // Art Therapy

Thursday, April 30, 2015

Hi guys,

So apparently I suffer from stress! This will probably come as no surprise to those who know me best, I've always been a tightly wound little bundle of pent up emotion, and I am notoriously bad at relaxing. It's not even funny tbh, I can do nothing all day, and get stressed out about the fact I've done nothing all day. I've been for massages to release some of my tension only to be wound up agan 5 minutes after leaving the spa-my last masseuse actually gave me an free half hour on top of my last massage because she was determined to work out the particularly stubborn knots in my shoulders, yes it took 90 minutes to work out the stress I carry in my shoulders! I try and sit with a good book but I get stressed out about the little things that need done around the flat, I try and de-stress by reading my favourite blogs but get annoyed at my perpetually slow-running computer, I have mad half hours where I gut a room in the flat and clean from top to bottom only for my back to have a fucking fit and decide it wants to kill me and render me useless for the rest of the day! You get my point right? I'm a big wound up ball of stress that doesn't know how to relax- GO ME! I always just thought "well screw it I'm a stressy person, it's only affecting me so I guess I'll just live with it" but recently my doctor told me that my stress levels might be why we aren't pregnant yet, and I knew then that something had to be done. So I searched out new ways to relax, and boy did I find the best remedy.

Art Therapy is a magazine, full of colouring in pages for adults. There are notes on how to relax your mind, how to use colours for their calming properties, and so much more AND it's only £2.99 an issue! I figured why not give it a try, and my God am I glad I did. I love it, you never really realise how relaxing colouring in is- probably because it's a hobby that stops after a certain age- but it truly is. Granted my need for perfection and symmetry cause me to get a bit to wound up about it every now and again, but it's progress at least.

Basically I wanted to sing the praises of colouring in and show off some of my pages that I've done recently, and I hope you like them.

What do you think? Do you suffer from stress too? Have you tried art therapy, or do you have suggestions to help this wound up ball of craziness relax? I'd love to hear from you, so leave me a comment- or you know tweet me or even message me on my Facebook page!
