The Super Last Minute Gift Guide

Monday, December 19, 2016

This is not your usual gift guide guys! This is a gift guide that is going live 6 days before Christmas! This is a gift guide for people who work in retail/care/emergency services and haven't had a day off since payday. A gift guide for people who work unsociable hours. A gift guide for people who planned on shopping online and then discovered there was a Royal Mail strike planned for the week of Christmas! This is a gift guide for all the Last Minute Lucie's, and Larry's, and whoever else's out there, so let's not waste anymore time and dive right in.

For Anyone who wants great skin:

L'Occitane- Nothing says "I care about you" more than a Christmas Gift Box full of lovely smelling, natural, organic skincare products. You could buy one of L'Occitane's pre-made collections or try putting a gift box together yourself! My dream box would contain the Shea Butter Hand Cream, Verbena Body Care Set, and the Neroli Scent. With all this in one place you could easily nail Christmas shopping in one go. Don't have a L'Occitane Boutique near you? Never fear, despite the Royal Mail strike L'Occitane have told me that orders made up to December 21st will arrive on time for Christmas!

For Anyone who wants to smell good enough to eat:

Ariana Grande- Sweet Like Candy is so delicious I almost can't believe it's a celebrity offering! I've never really been one for super sweet perfumes (I've actually almost exclusively worn Coco by Chanel, or my husband's Aqva by Bulgari for almost a decade) but this smells amazing I just love it.
The gorgeous geometric bottle with metal hardware, and pink floofy pompom will look great on every dresser- and brings a lovely 1920s vibe to every perfume collection. Sweet Like Candy is quite obviously a sweet scent, with notes of vanilla, but it manages not to come across too saccharine, which I love. Think warmth and parma violets and you're there!

For Anybody that loves a nice smelling home:

Yankee Candle- This gorgeous wax melt warmer from Yankee is right at the top of my list this year. For just a few quid more than a large jar candle you can have as many different delicious scents as you like, at your leisure! The best thing about it is that it's completely flameless, so it's safer around children and pets (and clumsy roommates) and you don't have to keep buying tealights- so you save money in the long run. I love this  one in light blue, but you can also get it in dark blue, green, pink and purple.

And finally- because I wouldn't be a proper blogger if I didn't include this...

For the blogger in your life:

This personalised marble notebook from Lisa Angel on Not on the High Street is perfect!! Honestly it's a total blogger cliche but anything with our initials on it is a-okay with us, and don't even get me started on the cult that is marble everything! From marble background flatlays, to travel mugs we'll have it all thank you-and if we have a marble notebook to write about it all in then yay!!

photo is property of Lisa Angel jewellery.
Well with that all said I better stop using all my time to write blog posts and actually get my butt into town to start actually buying people gifts haha!! Good luck to everyone who still has shopping to do, and honestly too all of you who are finished-I envy you, I really do!!

Merry Christmas everyone. xx
